WHSE Advisor – Trusted Partner in Safety, Quality & Culture
Jandakot, Perth WA
Full Time | $80,000 – $90,000 + Super

Aquatic Leisure Technologies (ALT) is Western Australia’s leading fibreglass pool manufacturer. Proudly WA-owned and operated for nearly 50 years, we continue to innovate and grow. We are now seeking a Work Health, Safety & Environment (WHSE) Advisor who brings more than compliance—you bring clarity, connection, and confidence.

This is an opportunity to step into a true advisory role—supporting leaders, coaching teams, and driving a culture where safety, quality, and care are embedded into daily operations. You will also support ALT’s environmental responsibilities across our sites.

About the Role
Reporting to the Business Manager – People & Culture and working closely with the Managing Director and operational leaders, you will work across our Jandakot manufacturing facility and field-based operations as a trusted WHSE partner. This role is hands-on, people-focused, and central to our continuous improvement goals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide trusted, practical WHSE advice across manufacturing, transport, and service delivery teams

Engage and coach a diverse workforce including trades, apprentices, and contractors

Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification and collaborative safety solutions

Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and one-on-one coaching to uplift safety knowledge

Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis and support return-to-work planning

Conduct internal WHSE audits and site inspections in line with legislation and ALT policies

Maintain and update emergency response plans and lead scheduled drills

Support environmental compliance through waste and chemical management, reporting, and local regulatory obligations

Maintain accurate records using systems, and contribute to regular safety and environmental reporting

Actively contribute to a culture of safety, wellbeing, and ownership across all levels of the business

What You’ll Bring

Certificate IV or Diploma in Work Health & Safety

3–5 years of WHS experience in a manufacturing, construction, or logistics setting

A confident and collaborative communication style with strong influencing skills

Ability to work independently, build relationships, and follow through on actions

White Card and C Class Driver’s Licence (mandatory)

Experience with WHS platforms

Exposure to environmental compliance, or a willingness to build capability in this area

Why ALT

Contribute to a well-established, proudly WA-owned business

Influence and shape WHSE culture across diverse operations

Be part of a collaborative team with strong leadership engagement

Enjoy professional development, recognition programs and practical flexibility

Opportunities to grow the role and evolve into future WHSE leadership positions

How to Apply
If you’re a WHSE professional who thrives on building trust, influencing culture, and contributing to operational success—we’d love to hear from you.

Please submit your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your interest in the role.

Aquatic Leisure Technologies is an equal opportunity employer. We welcome applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people from culturally diverse backgrounds, women, and individuals returning to the workforce.
