Role Overview:
As the Health & Safety Advisor, you'll be the go-to safety lead on-site, partnering with teams across production, engineering, quality and operations to drive safety improvements. This isn't a box-ticking compliance role - it's about embedding safety into the daily rhythm, ensuring risks are understood, and helping teams take ownership of their safety responsibilities.

- Drive safety risk assessments and audits, ensuring clear communication of risks and solutions.
- Support the rollout of safety platforms and systems, ensuring site teams adopt and use them effectively.
- Partner with Engineering to ensure machinery and critical safety compliance are met.
- Investigate incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and train teams on best-practice corrective actions.
- Coach and mentor staff on safety awareness, fostering a proactive safety culture.
- Manage and progress risk register projects, delivering measurable improvements in site safety.
Candidate Profile:
You're a hands-on, proactive safety professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You have a knack for translating safety principles into real-world solutions and are confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels.
- Cert IV in WHS (minimum)
- 3+ years' experience in a dedicated safety role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong investigative skills - able to mentor and coach others in best-practice incident management.
- ICAM trained (preferred) or equivalent experience in structured incident investigations.
- Comfortable working in a high-energy, dynamic environment where adaptability is key.
- Inquisitive mindset - asks the right questions and seeks to understand before taking action.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills - assertive yet respectful, able to hold your ground.
- Experience using safety platforms like DoneSafe, iAuditor, or SafetyCulture (advantageous but not essential).
Culture & Benefits:
This is a career-building opportunity to drive safety initiatives in a company that values innovation and accountability.
To ensure the right focus, Quality, Environment and Sustainability is handled by another team so you can focus solely on Health & Safety
