About the position
Reporting to Supervisor Parks and Reserves the Team Leader Arboriculture is responsible for leading a team in developing, setting and monitoring outcomes to achieve work area programs and projects. The Team Leader Arboriculture is also required to positively assist their team in delivering the technical aspects of the role to ensure that the organisation is able to meet its corporate objectives. Key responsibilities include:
Proactively contribute towards the development of forward plans for the work area that enable the organisation to deliver on the community strategic plan.
Complying with all relevant organisational codes, policies, procedures, guidelines and standards, and with the requirements of the appropriate legislation.
Team Leader Arboriculture - Position Description
About you
Have a Certificate III in Arboriculture (essential) or a Diploma in Arboriculture (desirable)
Hold a current Class MR Drivers Licence
Have a current Work Safely in the Construction Industry (White Card)
Ability to collaborate and lead to implement change where required
Understands the organisational perspective when making decisions
Have a Temporary Traffic Management Ticket Supervisory (TTM)
Willingness to undertake a National Crime Check Police Check and a Pre-employment Medical Assessment.
