Your role at St John of God Accord
We are currently seeking applications from enthusiastic and motivated Team Leaders to join our Accommodation sites across Melbourne North, East and West regions.
You will lead and supervise a team of Disability Support Workers in the areas of Supported Independent Living and Short Term Accommodation within St John of God Accord, including the development and implementation of services and programs that are flexible and individualised.
The Position
- Provide effective leadership, mentoring and supervision of DSWs to assist the development and achievement of team and client goals.
- Roster development, maintenance and review ensuring adherence to SJOGA guidelines, EBA, funding and legislation.
- Active involvement in the implementation and review of person-centered plans (PCPs) as required, Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs) in conjunction with clients and their circle of support and any other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all relevant records (including but not limited to) file notes, incident reports, OHS requirements, client and household finances and health management records are accurately maintained and updated either electronically or paper based (as required).
We are seeking a dynamic individual with a Certificate IV or above in Disability Studies or a related discipline, who possesses strong relationship-building skills with key stakeholders. Proficiency in MS Office, internet research, and Outlook is essential, alongside excellent planning and organisational skills.
Successful applicants must have a valid VIC Drivers Licence, Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR and be eligible for a NDIS screening clearance.

- Salary: $85,398 to $91,881 plus 11.5% Superannuation
- Permanent full-time or part-time positions available
