The Business:

The client demographic is largely pre/post retirees, average account balances = $1.5M. with some larger outliers which includes Corporates, SMSF and private Family Trusts.

They are currently seeking an Associate Advisor who has the ability to assist their Senior Financial Planners to manage these clients.

This role is very diverse, some of your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Attend client appointments with one of the Senior Financial Advisers (also the Director) and assist in completion of client background facts & assumptions
• Strategic financial modelling within agreed timeframes using Xplan, Wealth Solver and Risk Researcher
• Preparation of investment recommendations & client reports
• Managing Centrelink entitlements for eligible clients
• Development of suitable client asset allocation & investment recommendations
• To complete identified client reviews in conjunction with Senior Advisers including recommendation proposals
• Prepare para-planning advice requests for SoAs sent to outsourced paraplanner & RoAs where applicable.
• Monitor and maintain cash liquidity levels within client portfolios according to their risk profile (unless specifically noted otherwise) and relevant platform minimum cash balances

To be successful for the role you must have experience working in a professional financial planning business, as either a CSO/Paraplanner or Associate.

Strong computer skills will be required and experience with Xplan highly desirable
