This highly regarded and progressive financial planning practice is currently seeking an experienced Associate Advisor to join its team of professional and accomplished advisors and support staff.

Driven by outcomes and providing a true client experience and goals based advice to its loyal and rapidly growing clientele, this role will be supporting a senior advisor in the servicing of his holistic client base.

You will be involved in client meetings with the senior advisor, devising and preparing financial planning strategies, financial modelling and working with the advisor to ensure clients goals are being met. This will include preparation of all relevant documentation, research and correspondence prior to meeting, coordinating client meetings and review appointments and being a key point of contact for clients.

The successful candidate will need to meet the following requirements:

3+ years experience in paraplanning or associate advisor role within a financial planning practice - essential

Proficiency in Xplan and modelling and high level of technical knowledge and skill

Excellent communication - both written and oral

Bachelors degree preferred and meeting all relevant FASEA requirements

Client facing experience and prior implementation experience essential in order to demonstrate knowledge of the financial advice process

Strong communication and conversational skills, including the ability to engage and build rapport with a wide range of clients

High levels of initiative, attention to detail and ability to prioritise and multi task

Ability to work at pace, in a fast working environment, and be able to think on your feet
