Position based at UOW Liverpool Campus with occasional travel to Wollongong
Are you passionate about creating exciting and memorable experiences and events for prospective students? The University of Wollongong is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Events & Program Coordinator at the UOW Liverpool campus. This position is critical in supporting the growth of the UOW’s Liverpool campus by operationalizing high-quality student recruitment and outreach events both on campus and in community.
This role exists within the Events & Programs team within the Future Students & International Engagement Division which manages and delivers excellence in services for future UOW students and works to provide widening participation opportunities to students from equity backgrounds.
The postholder will serve as a key liaison between the division, Faculties, and campus stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of faculty-specific activities and external partnerships to support the University student recruitment and outreach agenda within the South Western Sydney region.
The incumbent for this role will contribute to or lead various events & programs including but not limited to Open Day, Discovery Days, Careers Expos & on campus school engagement activities.
The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification with relevant experience, or equivalent combination of relevant experience and /or education/training and strong skills in event management, project management or program design and delivery with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Working in a market lead environment the candidate should be comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment working both as a team and independently on innovative events and activities.
