Role Overview:

We are currently expanding into new ventures and, in alignment with the School’s commitment to global health and humanitarian values, are in the process of establishing ourselves as a World Health Organisation Collaboration Centre. To support this initiative, we are seeking a highly organised and motivated Project Manager to join our team.

As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the effective management, delivery, and successful completion of various projects, ensuring adherence to high standards of planning, administration, systems, and communication. You will play a crucial role in maintaining compliance with all relevant policies, processes, and standards set by ECU.

A significant aspect of this role will be international stakeholder engagement, requiring you to collaborate with local, national, and international partners. You will oversee the project management and administration for the establishment of the School as a World Health Organisation Collaboration Centre. In this capacity, you will be responsible for managing the WHO CC Memorandum of Understanding initiatives under the broad direction of the Executive Dean and the Associate Dean (Research).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of assigned projects in alignment with ECU policies and processes.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, particularly on international projects.
  • Oversee the establishment of the School as a WHO Collaboration Centre (WHO CC), managing all related project activities and administrative tasks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders both locally and internationally, fostering collaboration and ensuring project success.
  • Manage the WHO CC MoU initiatives within the School, under the guidance of the Executive Dean and Associate Dean (Research).
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, and ensure compliance with timelines and quality standards.


Benefits & Remuneration

This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $115,042 to $129,573 PA (HEW 8) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
