About the Role

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day retail operations, ensuring smooth and efficient shop performance

Monitor inventory levels, coordinate regular stock takes, and manage stock control systems

Drive in-store and online sales through engaging customer interactions and social media promotion

Create, develop, and execute strategic marketing and sales action plans to boost customer engagement and retention

Innovate and implement new ideas to grow the retail space and enhance the overall customer experience

Lead, motivate, and manage a small retail team to achieve performance targets and maintain high service standards

Analyse sales data and customer feedback to inform decisions and optimize product offerings

Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and workplace procedures

Collaborate with upper management to align shop goals with broader company objectives

Requirements

Must-Haves:

Extensive experience in retail, with a strong understanding of store operations and customer service

Proven ability to manage and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment

Strong leadership and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Confidence in driving sales both in-store and via social media platforms

Experience in inventory management and conducting accurate stock takes

A proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

Comfortable using computers, including POS systems, inventory software, and basic digital tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, social media)

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-Haves:

Experience in food retail or the meat industry

Knowledge of basic marketing or visual merchandising principles
