MARS Recruitment has partnered with a reputable non-bank lending organisation to recruit a high-calibre Finance & Operations Manager. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day finance operations related to customer loan settlements, including managing daily settlements, funding and drawdowns, loan administration, and supporting year-end reporting activities. You will also play a key role in analysing and refining customer pricing strategies.

The ideal candidate will be proactive in driving process improvements and will bring a strong technical accounting foundation. Exceptional communication skills are essential, as the role requires close collaboration with a range of internal and external stakeholders. Prior experience in product pricing is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Enhance internal processes to improve our ability to understand and optimise product pricing.
• Ensure settlement funding is managed in a timely and compliant manner, including daily approvals and regular drawdowns.
• Assist the team in maintaining accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance in line with the Finance Process Guide.
• Provide proactive support to help customers achieve their finance-related goals.
• Play a key role in the development and execution of strategic initiatives to drive growth across the group.
• Maintain and monitor the finance calendar to ensure all key deadlines and deliverables are met.
• Prepare and reconcile daily cashbooks to support accurate cash flow management.
• Deliver timely and insightful management reporting to support business decision-making.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and manage budgets to support financial planning and performance tracking.

Criteria:

• 5+ years post qualification experience
• CA/CPAACCA qualified
• Experienced in the product pricing essential
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills
• Energetic, astute and motivated
