Project Manager/Program Manager
This role, based in the Customer Solutions team, will oversee the delivery of a diverse range of renewable energy projects throughout Regional Western Australia. This will include solar and battery solutions for a range of deployment conditions, all focused on reducing the cost of energy for customers and driving towards our lower emissions future.

Specifically, you will be delivering our Kimberley Communities Solar Saver project, an innovative solution bringing renewable energy and bill savings to remote Aboriginal communities in the Kimberley.

This is a permanent full-time position based in Bentley, Perth.

Your role will include:

  • Manage the detailed design, delivery, post implementation review and handover of nominated initiatives, projects, products and services to approved scope, quality, schedule and budget, in line with approved business case(s).
  • Provide strategic advice on the development, approach and delivery of customer facing products and services.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting on all programs of work.
  • Understand and manage risks and issues throughout the project or initiative lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple programs of work, including any related internal and external project dependencies to meet agreed quality, time and cost objectives.
  • Identify, track, report, and advise on reputational risks to escalate issues to Government, the Minister's office and Horizon Power

You will have:

  • Demonstrated ability to "be the face" of a program and build an effective and trusted reputation for a program/project.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, Project Management or related disciplines is preferred.
  • Significant experience in Project or Portfolio Planning / Governance / Management / Compliance type role.
  • Experience in developing or reviewing executive papers and project documentation.
  • A proven ability to develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies.
  • A proven ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • A proven ability in contractor management, including procurement through to contract closeout
