Project Manager (Electrical Infrastructure)
The Project Manager is responsible for the effective management of major complex projects and ensuring project outcomes achieve Horizon Power's requirements for safety, cost, scope, quality, schedule, risk management and governance.
These outcomes are achieved through managing internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, including complex problem solving and critical advice associated with operating, technical, strategic challenges.
Your role will:
- Lead all aspects of a project's lifecycle, from concept planning, option analysis, design and delivery through to evaluation, reflection and realisation.
- Define the work breakdown structure, cost estimates and project schedules including procurement activities (request for tenders) to underpin large-scale investments.
- Coordinate technical and commercial analysis on the investment.
- Deliver the project in accordance with Horizon Power's project management methodology.
- Lead contract management for external panel and EPC contractors.
- Lead tenders and negotiate commercial contracts.
- Lead safety, environmental and quality control activities during design and construction.
- Lead and manage all aspects of operational and asset handover.
You will have:
- Project Management qualification
- Engineering or trade qualification essential. (Electrical or Mechanical)
- Extensive background within the power industry
- Significant experience in infrastructure project delivery
- Proven track record of managing large, complex projects
