Ashgrove Golf Club is seeking a person with a broad range of skills, a fast learner, has a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a passion for excellence in customer service.
You will possess an ability to develop a strong customer and staff rapport. A welcoming professional manner is also essential, as this role includes interactions with the public and our members.
Applicants must have a professional and positive demeanour and enjoy working in a busy environment. The position requires a self-motivated person with strong computer and organisational skills.
MUST HAVE
Sales and marketing experience
Ability to learn new IT systems
Experience in Microsoft 365 product suite
High standard of service.
Motivation
High level of attention to detail
Reception experience
AN ADVANTAGE BUT NOT ESSENTIAL
Experience with MYOB
Experience in a golf club (administration).
DUTIES INCLUDE (but not limited to)
Membership sales
Outbound sales and retention calls
Front office reception
Accounts receivable – issuing invoices, reconciling and following up.
Cashbook – data entry of daily receipts as well as weekly bank reconciliations.
Checking and balancing of point of sale registers.
Monitoring and balancing of petty cash and supporting documentation
Maintain membership database
Payroll processing as required
Member communications
Social Media
Provide support to the General Manager
To be successful, you will have a polished appearance, excellent phone manner and be able to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of work: Permanent full time (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm
