• TCSA Salaried Employees Award, Clerk Grade 2, annual package from $87,785 (includes base salary $77,795 + plus superannuation & leave loading)

Taronga is looking for a creative, organised and motivated Digital Marketing Officer who wants to join a leading organisation in conservation, education and transformational guest experiences.

You'll be at the heart of Taronga's digital ecosystem, creating, curating and publishing content to engage Taronga's visitors and supporters before, during and after their visit. You'll leverage your digital native skillset to deliver the right message at the right time via the right medium to drive revenue for Taronga's range of products and experiences.

About the role

As the Digital Marketing Officer, you will support the wider Marketing team to drive revenue and bring stories to life across a range of digital mediums, including but not limited to the Taronga website, emails, digital advertising campaigns, social media and in-grounds activations and touchpoints. This role uses a multitude of digital platforms and processes to maximise efficiency and support a fast-paced and multi-disciplinary team.

Key Accountabilities

• Support the functions of the Digital Marketing team by conducting tasks including, but not limited to, updating and optimizing website content, sourcing and creating imagery and video for campaigns, assisting with campaign messaging and execution across paid, earned and owned channels, and monthly dashboard reporting via analytics.
• Develop copy, imagery and/or interactive content for the Taronga website and other customer communication touchpoints to support strategic business objectives across all of Taronga's products, experiences and strategic pillars, with a core focus on both customer journey and conversion rate optimisation.
• Support the marketing team to deliver key tactical and event-based campaigns and activations across Taronga's two Zoos.
• Maintain SEO across Taronga's website assets to ensure high search rankings and visibility across organic content.
• Track and report on a range of digital metrics and provide data in a format that can be used to inform future decision-making solutions.
• Undertake a range of administrative support services including records management, invoice processing, routine correspondence, meeting and event support, and creating, compiling and distributing documents to assist with the smooth operation of the Digital Marketing team.

About you

• You have previous experience writing and curating content across a range of digital mediums for the purpose of maximizing customer engagement and conversion
• You're tech agnostic and have demonstrated hands-on experience using systems and tools like website CMS, Google Analytics, Canva, form builders, heatmapping and A/B testing tools. Basic HMTL experience is highly desirable
• You possess a keen eye for detail and take pride in delivering meticulously edited and beautifully formatted work
• You are an excellent communicator, experienced at interacting with stakeholders across a range of teams and levels
