About the role
We are seeking an experienced Allied Health Administrator to join our team. This part-time role is an integral part of our growing allied health practice, providing vital administrative support to our physiotherapists and ensuring the smooth running of our daily operations.

What you'll be doing

Manage patient bookings, schedules and records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date

Process payments and health fund claims, issue receipts and maintain financial records

Liaise with patients, referrers and other stakeholders in a professional and customer-focused manner

Provide general administrative support to the physics, including filing, photocopying and data entry

Assist with the implementation of practice policies and procedures

Contribute to the continuous improvement of administrative processes and systems

What we're looking for

Proven experience in a health or medical administrative or receptionist role.

Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise effectively and attention to detail.

Proficient in using common office software, such as Microsoft Office, as well as practice management systems Nookal.

A demonstrated commitment to confidentiality and attention to detail

A passion for providing high-quality support and contributing to the overall success of the practice
