The Opportunity:
Reception/Administration (Allied Health) SOUTHPORT / BENOWA CLINICS
Immediate Start
We are seeking expressions of interest from professional, reliable and customer oriented people to join our front desk and administration team on a permanent basis at our Southport and Benowa Clinics.
Our Southport and Benowa Clinics are modern healthcare practices located in busy Medical Precincts. We work alongside some of the Gold Coast’s most experienced surgeons providing allied health services to a wide range of medical specialists. We also have clinics in Nerang and will be opening our Pimpama/Upper Coomera Clinic later this year.
The working environment is a friendly, interactive and a busy atmosphere, with flexibility of work day hours. We are looking for long term team members who are looking for a stable and secure employment opportunity. Initial Training will take place predominately at our Southport CBD location and then future locations will either be Benowa or Southport.

Other Selection Criteria:
• You should have the flexibility to work across a five day roster Monday to Friday, 8am to 6 pm
• Previous experience within a reception or customer service environment is essential
• Applicants with medical or allied health experience will be prioritised
Current or willing to obtain:
• National Police Check
• Working with Children Check
Some Duties Include:
• Greeting clients at reception and engaging in friendly conversation
• Assisting other staff in developing rapport with clients
• Managing incoming telephone calls
• Scheduling and organising patient appointments
• Processing patient information and accounts on windows based software (Cliniko)
• Processing payments through EFTPOS and HICAPS systems
• Liaising with Insurers and Government departments such as Medicare, Workcover & DVA
• Processing emails and mail
• General office tasks including using Microsoft Word and Excel
• Aligning office practices to current health notices including COVID
