The Role

Reporting directly to the owners, you will be an integral member of a small but top

performing finance team. You will be responsible for all aspects of Management and

Financial Accounting for the business, and will provide integral support to the owners

in all aspects of the finance function.

Key responsibilities will include but will not be

restricted to:

Prepare weekly financial report including profit and loss and balance sheet

including variance analysis.

Analysis of onsite financial tracking and xero profit and loss

Supervision of AP and AR

Preparation of project and business Cashflow Statements

Assistance with Builder Claim

Review of Labour Claim sent out to subcontractors

Preparation and lodgement of monthly Business Activity Statement.

Adhoc reporting as and when required

Workcover Annual Return.

The successful candidate

In order to secure this position, you will be an ambitious Accountant looking to

progress your career within the construction sector. This would be an excellent first

move for a CA / CPA qualified Accountant looking to make their first move from a

Mid Tier or Big 4 firm ( ideally from Business Advisory Services). Alternatively you

may be currently working as a Financial / Management Accountant in an industry

based role. Previous experience within the construction sector is essential. With

strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills, you will be capable of

building strong working relationships across all levels, both internally and externally.

You will be a key contact for construction manager and contract administrators.
