Our client is a rapidly growing business in the Services industry. Due to growth, they are now seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. Working in the Head Office at Springfield and reporting to the CFO, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Managing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare and review monthly BAS.
• Conducting financial analysis and generating accurate and timely financial reports.
• Completing month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, regulations, and industry standards.
• Providing valuable insights and recommendations for financial improvements.
• Initiate and implement process improvement recommendations, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure processes and procedures are streamlined and efficient.
• Assist with the preparation of yearly budgets, as well as provide support with quarterly forecasting.
• You may be required to perform other reasonable duties, considering your skills, experience and training as directed by your manager.
• Guide and coach managers to enhance financial literacy, including collaborating to create department budgets and forecasting.

Ideally you will be CA/CPA qualified, have a minimum of 5 years' accounting experience, be a team player and be able to meet deadlines. This a a great opportunity to work close to home in a company that is growing where you can progress your accounting career.
