Career Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a HSEQ Coordinator.
As a HSEQ Coordinator, you will:
Ensure HSEQ compliance requirements and alignment with industry best practises.
Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing HSEQ advice and support to stakeholders as required, to ensure the HSEQ aspects are identified, managed, and incorporated into operations and decision-making.
Oversee the injury management and rehabilitation system ensuring that both workers compensation and non-work related injuries are managed.
Oversee company health and wellbeing programs which includes drug and alcohol testing, and ensure management of workplace risks including fatigue management.
Maintain and continually improve the certified HSEQ management system – including ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
Ensure compliance by regularly reviewing and updating policies, procedures and registers.
Perform inspections and audits of the HSEQ management system, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and legal regulations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on HSEQ matters.
Only candidates who meet the minimum requirements below shall be considered:
3+ years of relevant experience in a HSEQ role is required
A relevant qualification in HSEQ
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of management systems – in particular ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
Demonstrated experience in investigations (TapROOT, 5 Why’s, Human Factors, etc)
Oilfield / Marine & Machine Shop operations, including operating principles and procedures is desirable
Ability to work independently and with minimal direction
Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to write documents and reports.
Strategic thinking and decision-making.
The applicant must be willing to travel to sites intrastate in Western Australia as required.
