What you'll be doing

• Complete any general maintenance and installation of cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in Public Housing / Remote communities
• Use hand tools, machines, or power saws as required
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintains a safe and clean environment
• Monday-Friday if Residential or 2/1 Roster FIFO
• 9.5 hour days
• Salary is $135k, if residential there is an additional $20k housing allowance. This is a permanent full time position with paid annual/sick leave entitlements.

What we're looking for

• Carpentry trade qualification
• Valid Drivers License
• Police clearance obtained within 6 months or willing to obtain
• Residential to Newman or willing to relocate
• Previous experience with public housing works & remote areas highly desirable
• Genuine commitment to safe work practices
