EDC Electrical & Co. is a rapidly growing company based in Weipa and is seeking a full time Diesel Fitter/ LV mechanic.

Due to company expansion EDC is seeking a in house mechanic to perform regular maintenance servicing and repairs to our equipment equipment.

Work includes maintaining a fleet of work vehicles, trucks, excavators and all EDC machinery along with small motors.

About You:

To be successful for this role you must have:

A current QLD drivers licence

S1/G1

The ability to work unsupervised

A positive attitude

Self-Motivation

A strong work ethic and a willingness to work the hours that are required to meet project deadlines

Commitment to delivering quality results for our clients

Must pass a drug and Alcohol

The following is desirable but not necessary:

Machinery Tickets (Bobcat, excavator etc)

HR/HC Licence

Current High risk work licence

Confined Space

Hazardous area
