About the Role

Brisbane Diesel is currently seeking Diesel Fitters, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, and Light Vehicle Mechanics looking to upskill, to join our growing team in Brisbane’s northern suburbs. This is a full-time opportunity offering a mix of field service and workshop-based work in a flexible, supportive environment.

We’re looking for a team player with a strong work ethic and a “go-get-’em” attitude to support our field service and north side workshop operations. This role will suit someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in their work, and thrives in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, servicing and repairs on a wide range of machinery, including civil equipment, power generation units, agricultural machinery, trucks, light vehicles, and port service equipment

Maintain accurate job records and reporting using our custom maintenance management software

Keep work areas clean, organised, and safe

Comply with all safety procedures and protocols

Support the broader team to ensure timely and efficient job completion

What We’re Looking For

Ideally 2+ years post-trade experience (preferred but not essential)

Strong attention to detail – we aim for a no-call-back standard

Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills and a helpful, positive attitude

Technologically confident, with strong problem-solving and intermediate mathematical skills

Open driver's licence and reliable personal transport (field service vehicle and fuel card available)
