Mechanical Fitter

We have an opportunity available for fitters or mechanics to join a Mining manufacturer in Carole Park for a long-term position that leads to permanent work working with large component rebuilds for an international OEM supplier of mobile plant equipment!

Day & Afternoon Shift Available

Duties Include -

• Working with Heavy Earthmoving and Mining Machinery
• Full Heavy Machinery Strip Downs
• Fault Finding & Diagnosis, Parts Replacement, and Repairs using specific OEM tooling
• Hydraulic pump units, motors, engines, swing devices etc

Licenses and Requirements -

• Trade Qualified - Mechanical Fitter, Fitter and Turner, Diesel Mechanic, LV Mechanic etc
• Fault Finding & Diagnosis Experience
• Experience with a range of heavy mechanical rebuilds preferred
• Upskill from LV Mechanic is also available
• Hydraulic Experience preferred

Weekly Structure and Rate -

• Full-Time Hours with OT (Average 50 hrs per week)
• Leading to Permanent
• $53.00ph + Penalties - Afternoon Shift
• Located Carole Park
