Our client is well-known and highly regarded in their industry and due to growth, we're seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Generalist to join their team. Within this role you will be responsible for supporting the HR and management teams on delivering the full ranges of human resources services across the business including:

• Maintaining employee files with a high attention to detail
• Recruitment, selection and induction of new employees
• Preparation of all HR documentation including employment contracts, job descriptions forms and templates
• Assist with performance management, reviews and terminations
• Assist with workers compensation processes, return to work coordination and safety initiatives alongside Safety Adviser
• Coordinate training programs alongside Safety Adviser
• Provide HR guidance and support to staff and management teams ensuring all requests are responded to promptly
• Review and update policy and procedure regularly
• Drive all HR initiatives including health and wellness programs
• Drive all employee benefits including EAP, Team BBA's, Service Awards, Birthday's.

What we’re looking for:

• Diploma qualification or higher in Business, Human Resources or similar
• Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role (prior experience in ‘blue collar’ industry (desirable, not essential)
• Highly proficient computer skills including strong systems knowledge (Word, Outlook, Excel, Employment Hero)
• Motivated self-starter with a professional demeanor and ready to roll up the sleeves and deal with the day-to-day needs of the business.
• Experienced in advising on issues relating to Australian employment law and Awards interpretation
• Excellent problem solving, negotiating and superior communication skills
• People focus with a positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual
• The ability to multitask and prioritise to meet strict deadlines
• The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical and random Drug & Alcohol testing
