We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist/HR Manager to join a dynamic, mid-tier Professional Services organisation based in North Sydney. Our client is a leading firm, with around 400 employees across the Asia Pacific Region.

This permanent opportunity offers a chance to manage a team of 4 HR professionals and play a pivotal role in shaping HR strategies and initiatives. You will work closely with the COO to drive key decisions and support with business growth.

With a commercial approach to HR, you will be responsible for workforce planning and key projects. Working alongside the HR team, you will have full autonomy, influence and trust across your function.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Lead and manage the HR team, ensuring the day-to-day HR operations are smooth and efficient with your support.
• Lead performance management, remuneration and benefits, and succession planning.
• Support the team with employee relations, learning & development, and talent management.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement HR strategies and functions.
• Identifying HR risks within the business.

Who you are?

• A minimum of 8 years experience working in HR, with a focus on Generalist roles.
• Demonstrated strong leadership and team management skills.
• Proven ability to work at both a strategic and operational level.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
