About the Role

As an HR Officer in this generalist role, you will play a crucial part in fostering a positive workplace culture while supporting all aspects of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and compliance. You will work closely with the HR Admin and Payroll teams to ensure seamless HR operations, accurate record-keeping, and compliance with employment regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • oversee and coordinate the full recruitment lifecycle to align with workforce planning and business needs.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries on HR policies, procedures, and benefits.
  • Provide expert advice to management on recruitment strategies, disciplinary matters, performance management, industrial relations, and workforce planning.
  • Support performance management processes, including evaluations and improvement plans.
  • Address employee grievances and foster positive employee relations.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and growth.
  • Maintain accurate employee records with strict confidentiality.
  • Contribute to HR projects that promote engagement and strengthen company culture.
  • Collaborate with the payroll team to support payroll and benefits administration.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role or similar position. (Minimum 5 years’ experience)
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and confidentiality.
