About the role

SMSGlobal Pty Ltd is looking for an ambitious Business Development professional to join our team in our South Melbourne office. This is a full-time role where you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and driving revenue growth for our company.

What you'll be doing

• Prospecting and identifying new potential clients in the market
• Qualifying and nurturing leads to convert them into paying customers
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients
• Negotiating and closing sales contracts with new and existing clients
• Collaborating with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute effective sales strategies
• Providing feedback and insights to the leadership team to help inform product and service development

What we're looking for

• At least 3 years of successful new business development experience, ideally in the technology or SaaS industry
• Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with the ability to identify and qualify new sales opportunities
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
• A self-motivated and driven individual with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Strong business acumen and the ability to understand and communicate the value proposition of our products and services
• Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales enablement tools
