This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a passionate Customer Service Team Leader to join a dedicated, purpose-driven team. You’ll be working alongside some of Australia’s most respected and recognised organisations, helping deliver solutions that are often urgent, time-sensitive, and in some cases, life-saving.
Overseeing a team of 8, you will have the opportunity to coach, train and mentor a high performing team whilst being heavily involved in customer interactions and troubleshooting client queries.
About the Role:
As Team Leader, you'll lead by example - coaching, developing, and mentoring a high-performing customer service team. You’ll take a hands-on approach, managing escalations and directly contributing to service excellence. This is an opportunity to step into a leadership role where your efforts truly matter
- Coach, develop and mentor your team to reach their full potential
- Provide ongoing support and training to ensure service excellence
- Be the key point of contact for escalated, time-sensitive enquiries
- Collaborate on recruitment and onboarding
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators and service metrics
About you:
- Proven experience leading a customer service tea, ideally gained in an order management and / or FMCG environment
- A proactive approach to leading a team with the ability to coach and mentor
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while supporting your team
- A hands on leadership style
- Driven to meet and exceed KPIs and client expectations
- Confident using ERP systems and MS Excel
- Reliable transport
