Job Description:
They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to join their team in Sydney.

As an Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in the project delivery process, ensuring accurate cost estimates and effective cost management throughout the lifecycle of their diverse construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Estimation: Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for various construction projects, considering materials, labor, equipment, and overhead costs.
2. Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular reports to project teams and management. Identify cost-saving opportunities and advise on cost-effective strategies.
3. Tendering: Prepare and evaluate tender documents, including bills of quantities, to secure competitive bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
4. Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs without compromising quality.

To be considered for this role:

• Cubit software experience
• Strong tendering and pride development skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Estimator within the construction industry.
• Strong proficiency in construction cost estimating software and tools.
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Previous experience with class 2, mixed-use and residential projects is essential
