About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plastic Injection Moulding Die Setter to join our team at Supaflow Engineering in Meadowbrook, Queensland. This is a full-time role that will be responsible for setting up and operating our state-of-the-art injection moulding machines to produce high-quality plastic components for our diverse range of manufacturing clients.

What you'll be doing

Set up and operate plastic injection moulding machines to produce components to precise specifications in all types of plastics, including Nylon, PP, LDPE, Polycarbonate, ABS, ASA and more

Monitor production runs and make adjustments to machine settings as required to maintain product quality

Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure optimal performance

Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks

Maintain detailed production records and liaise with quality assurance to ensure compliance with industry standards

Provide on-the-job training and mentoring to less experienced team members

Robotic programming with 3 axis and 6 axis robots

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as a Plastic Injection Moulding Die Setter

Extensive knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes, materials, and machinery, including Experience in 3 axis and 6 axis robots

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to quickly identify and resolve production issues

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of quality

Effective communication and collaboration skills to work as part of a team

Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in plastic injection moulding or manufacturing
