Our client has branches across all states and maintain the highest level of support and servicing for their clients, providing quality new and used equipment, servicing & parts.

Position

Due to ongoing demand for large equipment in the Queensland market, the position of Sales Representative has been created. This role will work within the Power Generation division of the business and will service existing and new clients state-wide.

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing the first point of contact for customers including quarries, crushing contractors, recycling & demolition businesses, mines and more
• Build & maintain relationships with new & existing key account holders
• Attend onsite meetings and consultations
• Prospect new customer & business opportunities
• Promoting company & large catalogue of machinery/products
• Analyse onsite situations, recommending specific plant
• Attend industry events - travel when required

The Candidate

In order to be considered for this position, it is vital you have a background in generator hire or sales, or a similarly related industry. Those individuals who've begun as internal sales or are currently hire controllers and wish to make a change and step out onto the road would be perfectly suited.

Other important criteria include:

• Extensive knowledge within power generation equipment
• Ability to build relationships and develop rapport
• Able to travel regularly around QLD
• Valid Australian Driver's License
• Australian working rights
