Role Summary

We are seeking a Telecommunication System B2B Sales Representative to drive the adoption of Hellocentre’s platform among enterprise clients. In this Melbourne-based role, you will identify and engage prospective business customers, demonstrating how our call management system can optimize their operations and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, results-driven sales professional (mid-level to senior) with strong cold-calling and consultative selling skills. You will play a pivotal part in expanding our B2B customer base, converting leads into long-term partnerships, and ensuring sustained revenue growth in the Australian market.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect and Engage: Actively identify and engage with potential business clients, introducing them to Hellocentre’s software solution. This includes proactive outreach via cold calls, networking events, LinkedIn contacts, and door-to-door visits to initiate conversations with key prospects.

Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (e.g. IT managers, operations heads, C-level executives) in target industries. Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding their communication needs and aligning our platform’s benefits to their business goals.

Needs Analysis & Solution Consulting: Work closely with clients to assess their current telecommunication and call management challenges. Recommend tailored solutions from Hellocentre’s platform, showcasing how our features address specific pain points and improve efficiency.

Product Presentation & Closing: Conduct compelling product presentations and live demos to demonstrate the value and ROI of our system. Clearly communicate Hellocentre’s value proposition and how it solves business challenges. Lead negotiations, address client concerns, and close sales deals that convert qualified leads into long-term customers.

Account Management: After onboarding new clients, ensure a smooth implementation and maintain ongoing engagement. Provide exceptional after-sales support and regular check-ins to foster customer satisfaction. Grow accounts by identifying upselling or cross-selling opportunities and securing renewals for sustainable revenue growth.

Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities and strategic partnerships to expand Hellocentre’s market reach. Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings in the Australian telecom/communication sector to inform sales strategy.

Reporting & Collaboration: Diligently manage your sales pipeline using CRM tools, keeping accurate records of leads, activities, and deal status. Provide regular sales forecasts and market feedback to the Hellocentre management, marketing, and product teams, helping refine our offerings and go-to-market strategies. Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to ensure client needs are met and campaigns are effective.

Qualifications & Experience

Proven B2B Sales Experience: Mid-level to senior experience in system or software sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment. Experience in selling telecommunication systems, SaaS, or enterprise communication platforms is highly preferred.

Sales Skills: Exceptional skills in prospecting, cold-calling, and door-to-door or face-to-face selling in business settings. Ability to analyze enterprise client needs and translate them into tailored solutions that drive long-term value. Strong consultative sales approach with the ability to identify, qualify, and close deals strategically.

Communication & Presentation: Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Confident in pitching technical or complex solutions to senior stakeholders and C-level executives, with the ability to clearly articulate value and ROI.

Relationship Management: Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at multiple levels within an organization. A collaborative mindset to coordinate with clients’ teams and internal Hellocentre teams to ensure successful implementation and ongoing satisfaction.

Self-Motivation & Drive: A self-motivated, results-driven attitude with strong organizational skills. Goal-oriented and adaptable in a fast-paced environment, able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with CRM software and sales enablement tools for managing leads, opportunities, and forecasting. Comfortable using digital communication channels and productivity tools.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, IT, or a related field is preferred (or equivalent work experience in relevant industries).

Preferred Qualifications

Telecom Industry Background: Prior experience in the telecommunications or enterprise communication systems industry. This could include selling VoIP solutions, call center software, unified communications platforms, or other telecom services, giving you a strong understanding of telecom terminology and client needs.

Local Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the Australian business communications landscape and telecom market trends. Experience working with Australian enterprises or knowledge of common challenges in Australian telephony and customer service workflows is a plus.

Network & Contacts: An existing network of contacts in the Melbourne/Victorian business community or telecom sector can be advantageous, helping to accelerate lead generation and partnership building.

Additional Skills: Understanding of digital marketing or cloud-based communication technologies can be beneficial, as Hellocentre’s platform integrates with modern AI and cloud services (continuous learning mindset is encouraged).
