About the Role:
Ape the Label is looking for a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead and drive our brand’s marketing vision across all digital channels. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who’s also ready to get hands on - someone who thrives on both big-picture planning and detailed execution.

You’ll oversee the full marketing function, including content strategy, content creation, campaign planning, influencer marketing, digital performance, social media, and creative direction. You'll collaborate closely with our leadership and design teams to bring compelling campaigns to life that elevate the brand and drive results.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement a clear, cohesive marketing strategy aligned with key business objectives

Own and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring timely campaign rollouts across the year

Work cross-functionally with the designer to ensure aligned messaging and timing

Liaise with digital marketing agencies and consultants (Meta, Google, Pinterest, etc.)

Monitor and report on key performance metrics, applying insights to continuously improve outcomes

Content Creation & Social Media

Lead the brand’s presence across social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Meta Ads

Lead all content creation – planning, briefing, coordination and scheduling for content production

Plan and coordinate campaign and ecommerce photoshoots – including logistics booking talent, sourcing locations, preparing products, developing shot lists and scheduling

Ensure visual content aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals

Maintain a high-quality, cohesive look and feel across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Meta Ads

Schedule and post engaging content across platforms, aligned with launches and promotional activity

Email & Website

Manage the brand’s email marketing strategy (flows, campaigns, strategy and reporting)

Ensure campaign and ecommerce assets are uploaded and featured on-site in line with product launches

Oversee homepage updates, campaign banners, and SEO-friendly content

Paid Advertising & Performance Marketing

Direct the strategy and performance of paid campaigns via Meta, Google and Pinterest alongside ad agency partners and consultants

Regularly review and optimise creative assets and messaging based on analytics

Collaborate with agency partners to review results and guide campaign improvements

Influencer & PR Strategy

Source, brief, and build strong relationships with content creators and hairdressers

Manage influencer gifting initiatives and campaign coordination

Track outcomes and performance of partnerships, maintaining a detailed CRM of contacts

Community Engagement & Brand Loyalty

· Develop and implement community-building strategies across all platforms

· Engage with our audience daily – responding to comments, DMs and tags in a timely and on-brand manner

· Champion UGC content and build brand loyalty through real-time connection

· Monitor community sentiment and identify opportunities to enhance customer experience and advocacy

Brand Experience & Customer Experience

Ensure consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints—from social to email to website

Collaborate on campaign storytelling and brand voice to resonate with our audience through ideation, scripting and captions with a distinct brand voice

Stay across emerging digital trends and adapt accordingly to keep content relevant and engaging

Budget Awareness & Procurement

Work closely with leadership to stay within the marketing budget

Allocate spend strategically across paid ads, influencer gifting, creative, and promotions

Monitor ROI and adjust spending based on campaign performance and seasonality

About You:

4+ years in a marketing, content, or digital role (fashion or lifestyle brand experience preferred)

A strategic thinker who’s also confident rolling up your sleeves and executing

Strong grasp of performance marketing, content planning, and ecommerce strategy

A natural storyteller with exceptional communication skills

Detail-oriented and organised, with strong aesthetic awareness

Experience and knowledge with Klaviyo, Shopify, Meta Ads Manager and Pinterest Ads

A positive, collaborative attitude - you’re someone who values being part of a team and shared success

Confident working solo, managing your own time and juggling priorities in a fast-paced brand

Bonus Points If You Have:

Graphic design or video editing experience

Experience working with influencers and stylists in fashion or beauty
