WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join our growing, fast and dynamic team with a great culture.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Overall responsibility for day-to-day warehouse team operation and performance – plan, schedule, organise, oversee and deliver to ensure the goods are delivered on time to our customers.
• Managing inventory by conducting regular and accurate cycle counts and stock takes
• Planning container receipt, relevant labour requirements and warehouse bay allocation for stock
• Champion though leadership picking, packing and despatch to ensure our team targets are met
• Manage return processes
• Freight logistics management/transport operations and systems
• Ensure the warehouse is maintained to the highest standards – responsible for adhering to WHS procedures and policies and promoting a safe, clean and efficient workplace
• Asset management of warehouse equipment for maintenance and servicing
• Induct, manage, and actively promote employee development, staff induction including on the job training where required
• Maintaining positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

THE PERSON

To be successful you must:

• Have 2 + years experience as a Warehouse Supervisor
• Demonstrated and strong inventory management skills
• A high level of accuracy and confidentiality
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven experience as a motivated and results driven individual
• Demonstrated leadership competency, having a hands-on approach, and leading by example
• The ability to drive and achieve operational goals with strong strategic thinking
• A strong understanding/experience with logistics operations
• Have proven organisation and time management skills; including the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines, manage competing demands and changes in priorities
• The ability to engage with people across a broad spectrum of backgrounds in a professional manner and a willingness to undertake what is required to ensure client satisfaction.
• Be a team player at all times
• Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn with a "can do" attitude
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload
• Be fit and capable of lifting up to 30kg at a time
• Have a Current Australian forklift and drivers licence

HOURS

• Full-time position Monday to Thursday 7.30am-5.00pm and Friday 7.30am-4:00pm (44 hour working week)
