The role:
As the Warehouse Supervisor – Perth Branch, you will:

• Manage the daily warehouse functions (inbound, outbound, put-away, stock control, and OH&S)
• Review delivery documents and input data into the warehouse management system
• Pick, pack, dispatch and invoice customer orders
• Key in and process customer orders
• Prepare orders and liaise with customers for delivery
• Reconcile backorders and notify management of any discrepancies with inventory
• Update ETAs on the system and advise the sales and customer service teams of any delivery issues
• Book, arrange and coordinate couriers to ensure customer delivery timeframes are met
• Operate the high-reach forklift and unload and put away deliveries from containers and trucks
• Unpack deliveries and sort products into their assigned warehouse areas and bin locations
• Assist the National Supply Chain Manager with process improvement initiative
• Conduct regular stocktakes to ensure physical stock matches units in the system
• Input inventory data into a WMS and Excel file and extract weekly and monthly reports for the senior management team
• Ensure company and warehouse OH&S standards are maintained
• Manage and order warehouse supplies

The requirements:

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Team Leader working in a commercial supply environment servicing Trade, Mining, Building, Construction, and Industrial customers
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work in an autonomous environment
• Exceptional communication and listening skills
• Must have a current Forklift licence
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Microsoft packages (WORD, Excel and Outlook)
• Strong decision-making capability with the ability to manage and resolve customer problems
• Professional qualifications in Warehousing or Distribution Management will be highly regarded
