About the role

Join the dedicated team at Eaton and Australind Medical Centre as a Practice Nurse. This part-time role will see you providing high-quality nursing care to patients at our modern, well-equipped medical practices located in Eaton and Australind in WA 6232. As an integral member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital part in supporting GPs and ensuring our patients receive the best possible care.

What you'll be doing

Providing nursing assistance to GPs during consultations

Performing routine health assessments, treatments and procedures

Administering vaccinations and injections

Coordinating patient bookings and follow-up appointments

Maintaining detailed patient records and ensuring confidentiality

Promoting preventative health and educating patients on self-care

Liaising with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care

Adhering to all practice policies, procedures and quality standards

What we're looking for

Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration

Minimum 2 years' post graduation experience though general practice experience not essential as full training will be provided

Strong clinical and patient care skills with attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Sound computer skills and experience with medical software

Commitment to ongoing professional development
