About the role

Redbank Medical Centre, a well-established general practice in Redbank, Queensland, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team on a casual basis. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting our doctors and providing high-quality patient care.

What you'll be doing

Assisting with the coordination and delivery of patient care, including performing clinical assessments, administering medications, and providing health education and advice

Preparing examination rooms, sterilising equipment, and maintaining medical supplies

Conducting routine screening tests, such as blood pressure, blood glucose, and ECG monitoring

Providing immunisations and managing the vaccine storage and cold chain

Documenting patient interactions and maintaining accurate medical records

Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the practice

What we're looking for

Registered Nurse with a current AHPRA registration

Minimum of 1 year experience in a general practice or similar healthcare setting

Strong clinical skills and experience in patient assessment, treatment, and education

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

Experience in using Medical Software (Best Practice)
