Experienced Multi Disciplinary Registered Practice Nurse

Archway Medical Hub requires an experienced General Practice Registered Nurse to join our enthusiastic clinical team.

The practice is located in Hunters Hill, 20 minutes from the CBD.

The successful applicant will hold current AHPRA registration and will have previous experience in a general practice setting. They will also be a team player; self motivated & be familiar with Best Practice and have excellent communication skills.

This position is full time. However, consideration will be given for Permanent Part time with flexible hours if required.

This position will give you the opportunity to undertake a variety of practice nursing tasks as required.

Remuneration is offered above award to the successful candidate, following a three month probationary period.

The successful applicant will be required to work closely with our clinical team, providing wound care, IV access, triaging of patients, small surgical procedures, Chronic Disease support, support of our Aged Care patients, Recall & Reminders management and be aware of and have the ability to maintain Confidentiality & Privacy issues and concerns within a General Practice setting.

There will also be a requirement to attend Immunisation Certificate training, should the successful applicant not have this essential skill.

Essential requirements:

• Current AHPRA registration

• Previous experience in a General Practice Treatment room

• Triage & wound management experience

• excellent communication skills

• high level of computer literacy

• attend further education as required

• Australian Residency

• Exemplary Confidentiality & Privacy adherence at all times

Desirable:

• Previous experience in RACGP Accreditation standards

• knowledge of Best Practice software

• current CPR certificate

• Immunisation accredited

• Diabetes management

• experience in minor surgery assistance

• Well Women’s’ screening an advantage

• An understanding of Children & Babies health issues
