Macksville Pre-School and Childcare centre is a 39-place centre catering for children aged 18 months to under 6 years and is ideally located on the NSW Mid North Coast halfway between Sydney and Brisbane. It is governed by a supportive and skilled Management Committee dedicated to supporting the team in providing a high-quality early childhood education and care service to in turn, meet the needs of the children and their families.

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher/Director. Ideally the successful applicant will work in the room 2 days per week as Room Leader and 3 days per week as Director. The role will also include being a Nominated Supervisor.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education or equivalent

• Ability to effectively lead the team in a professional, friendly and supportive manner.

• Excellent management, communication, mentoring and budgeting skills

• A strong understanding of EYLF, NQF, Education & Care Services National Law and Regulations

• Experience as Director/Nominated Supervisor. Minimum 2-3 years preferred, but all qualified applicants with a Degree in ECE will be considered.

• Current NSW WWCC, First Aid/CPR Certificate, Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificate and Child Protection qualifications.

The Role

• As our dynamic Centre Director you will work in collaboration with our Management Committee and be responsible for the overall management and operation of the centre.

• As our inspirational Teacher/Room Leader you will assist our dynamic and highly dedicated team in planning, implementing and assessing a high quality pre-school and childcare educational program
