Are you a passionate early childhood leader ready to make a meaningful difference in your community? Perfect Start Crestmead 1 & 2—our dynamic, family-owned centres in Logan—are seeking a confident and inspiring Nominated Supervisor to guide our team, nurture strong family connections, and create a thriving, sustainable service for children and their families.
This is a unique opportunity to lead across two co-located centres and help shape their continued success. Crestmead 2 has recently opened and is already building a strong presence in the community. You’ll work closely with our leadership team to foster high-quality practice, authentic engagement, and a sense of belonging for all.
About Us
At Perfect Start, we create a “home away from home” where every child is seen, supported, and celebrated. Our centres are designed with our families and community in mind—Crestmead 1 supports Pre-Kindy, Kindergarten, and School Aged Care, while Crestmead 2 focuses on Infants and Toddlers, with nurturing routines and developmentally responsive programs.
Our environments are warm, welcoming, and intentionally designed to promote curiosity, connection, and joy. From beautiful outdoor spaces to calm, nurturing routines, everything we do is centred on relationships and a genuine love of learning.
We’re committed to growing thoughtfully and sustainably, and we’re looking for a leader who shares our vision.
About the Role
As the Nominated Supervisor, you’ll lead daily operations across both centres, guiding your team, nurturing community partnerships, and ensuring exceptional outcomes for children and families. Your role is pivotal in cultivating a positive culture, supporting continuous improvement, and helping our centres grow in a way that’s sustainable and aligned with our values.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and mentoring a passionate team across both centres to deliver high-quality programs and care.
Building and supporting a strong internal leadership structure to guide and mentor educators and promote professional growth.
Fostering strong, respectful partnerships with families and actively engaging with the local community.
Working alongside the Educational Leader to implement inspiring educational programs aligned with the EYLF.
Supporting thoughtful occupancy growth through genuine community connections and quality program delivery.
Championing compliance and quality standards across all aspects of service delivery.
Encouraging reflective practice and ongoing improvement across both centres.
What We’re Looking For
You’re a capable, warm, and confident leader who thrives on supporting others to grow. You believe in building strong relationships, leading with integrity, and creating a place where children and educators alike feel a deep sense of belonging.
You’ll bring:
Proven leadership experience as a Nominated Supervisor or similar role.
An ACECQA-approved Diploma (or higher) in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Current Blue Card and Child Protection training.
First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
Strong knowledge of the NQF, NQS, and EYLF.
Experience with CCS software systems (Kidsoft experience is a plus).
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
A collaborative, relationship-focused leadership style.
Why Join Perfect Start?
Lead with autonomy and heart in a supportive, family-owned organisation.
Be part of a passionate, close-knit leadership team.
Guide a team that’s committed to professional growth and shared success.
Access ongoing professional development and coaching opportunities.
Play a central role in shaping a service that truly makes a difference.
