Launch Recruitment are exclusively supporting a global payments organisation, on the lookout for multiple IT Support Engineers on a permanent basis. The role will be focused on contributing to the technical operations of electronic payment solutions, implementations and optimisations, ensuring all is completed on scale and in line with regulations.

Responsibilities include -

• Continuous analysis, development and optimisation of payment platforms
• Contribute to the definition and implementation of operational procedures
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for customers (L2/3)
• Play a crucial part in defining tasks such as; alarms, scheduling, backups, and planning batch processing
• Ensure concise and up to date technical documentation
• Evaluate and deliver system upgrades based on user needs, trends and system developments
• Contribute to monitoring operational incidents, analysing the causes and taking the associated corrective measures to resolve
• Steer stakeholders, internal teams and clients during production and manage relationships between customers and service providers

Required experience -

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient experience with Unix, database management and scripting
• Strong experience with networking & networking platforms
• Previous experience providing IT support up L2/L3
• Strong experience with cloud technology (AWS, Azure etc.)
• Desirable - experience in file transfer systems (e.g, CFT, SFTP)
• Desirable - Microservices like K8S, Kafka, SNSQS
