We have partnered with a leading organisation embarking on a data transformation journey to implement a new Azure Data Lake as part of a modernised data ecosystem. We’re looking for a mid-level Azure Data Engineer (4+ years experience) to join a highly skilled team and play a key role in designing and building data pipelines. You’ll work with the latest Azure technologies in a Microsoft-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain Azure-based data pipelines using ADF, Synapse, and Databricks

Work closely with senior engineers to build a scalable Data Lake

Develop ETL/ELT processes for ingesting, transforming, and storing large datasets

Optimise data models for analytics and reporting

Implement best practices in data governance, security, and performance tuning

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data integration

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

4+ years experience in Azure Data Engineering

Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory (ADF), Synapse, Databricks

Hands-on experience building data pipelines from scratch

Proficiency in Python, PySpark, or T-SQL for data processing

Understanding of data modeling (dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas)

Exposure to Power BI and how data models support reporting

Experience working in cloud-based data environments

Experience building CI/CD/CT pipelines to support data engineering using Azure DevOps
