Our client is seeking a Flavour Account Executive to drive growth and inspire taste experiences across the market.

This full-time, permanent role sits at the heart of a thriving Food and Nutrition business. Reporting to the Product Manager, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team, including Application Technologists and Account Managers, working together to develop, present, and deliver innovative flavour solutions to existing and potential clients.

You'll promote an exclusive range of high-quality flavour solutions developed by one of the world’s most respected producers. Our client has built a close and successful long-term partnership with many global flavour leaders, delivering year-on-year growth, and you’ll play a key role in taking this success even further.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone who thrives in business development and enjoys managing innovation projects from concept to launch—playing a key role in building a flavour pipeline, conducting tastings, converting briefs into successful commercial outcomes, and developing lasting relationships with a vast number of global, and SME clients in the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as a technical expert in your client’s flavour portfolio

Create flavour formulations in partnership with customers across different areas of food manufacturing, including beverage, bakery, confectionery segments, etc.

Partner with Account Managers to:

Grow flavour sales with current customers

Introduce flavour solutions to existing customers using other ingredient lines

Identify and engage new customers not currently working with our client

Conduct flavour presentations to customers, tastings, and trend-based discussions to capture project briefs

Conduct sensory evaluations and trials to ensure quality and suitability, and report findings

Collaborate with Product Managers and Application Technologists to respond to briefs and develop proactive flavour concepts

Manage and convert a pipeline of flavour development projects into sales

Build strong relationships with key customers and strategic flavour partners

Drive cross-selling opportunities within the wider ingredient range

Shape the flavour strategy for the market segments under your responsibility

SELECTION CRITERIA

A degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related scientific/food discipline

Strong technical knowledge in flavours, ideally with experience in NPD across food or beverage accounts

Commercial acumen and experience in a B2B ingredients environment

Proven ability to lead flavour discussions and deliver engaging product presentations

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High level of organisation and prioritisation

Comfortable working independently while contributing to a collaborative team culture

Fluent English and strong IT literacy
