As the Purchasing Manager, you will be in charge of overseeing the company’s procurement processes, including planning, organizing, and coordinating workflow. Your role will ensure that products and services are acquired at the best prices while upholding the highest quality standards. You will collaborate closely with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to ensure a seamless and efficient supply chain.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement purchasing strategies and policies to meet company goals and objectives.

Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiating pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.

Negotiating supplier contracts to ensure quality, cost, and delivery standards are met.

Monitor inventory levels to ensure timely procurement of materials and avoid overstocking or shortages.

Analyze market trends and assess potential risks in the supply chain to ensure continuity of supply.

Work closely with other departments such as production, logistics, and finance to align purchasing activities with company needs.

Supervising the recording of purchase, storage, and distribution transactions.

Leading staff operations and evaluating their performance.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement processes.

Prepare reports on purchasing activities, budget forecasts, and supplier performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).

Proven experience 2+ years as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar procurement role.

Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Ability to analyze data and make data-driven purchasing decisions.

Familiarity with procurement software and Microsoft Office.

A proactive approach to problem-solving with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Skills:

Experience in ERP software is highly preferred.

Knowledge of sustainability practices and supply chain ethics is a bonus.
