About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Purchasing Officer to join a dynamic supply chain team. This role will be responsible for planning and executing the procurement of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels and on-time delivery across multiple locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute purchasing plans for raw materials and finished goods, managing key data such as lead times, order multiples, unit of measure, and pricing.
• Monitor shipment arrival notices and coordinate closely with WHS and warehouse teams.
• Maintain and review safety stock levels for all assigned raw materials and packaging items.
• Analyse inventory levels, service performance, and drive improvements to meet DIFOT targets.
• Identify and resolve data inaccuracies related to BOMs, stock on hand, demand forecasts, and AX system inputs.
• Participate in daily operations meetings and support broader business improvement initiatives.

About You

• 4+ years of experience in a planning and purchasing role, ideally within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
• Strong critical thinking, data analysis, and Excel skills.
• Experience working in a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) environment.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS or similar professional certification.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong understanding of technical and inventory requirements.
