Your new role
As a Statutory Planner, you will:

• Process planning permit applications and amendments.
  
• Manage approval of plans, extensions of permits, and submissions to the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
  
• Provide expert advice and respond to community and stakeholder enquiries on planning matters.
  
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and play a pivotal role in improving departmental performance.
  

What you'll need to succeed

• A tertiary qualification in planning or a related field
  
• Sound knowledge and understanding of statutory planning processes and legislation.
  
• Strong analytical, research, and report-writing skills.
  
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  
• Proven ability to manage time and conflicting priorities effectively.
  
• A current driving licence.
  
• Experience in statutory planning.
