About the role

We are seeking an experienced Paraplanner to join our dynamic team at Southern Cross Wealth Management in Balcatta, Western Australia. This role could suit a full-time Paraplanner or be tailored as a part-time role to fit around family commitments. Being a small team supporting one adviser there is felxibiity to scope the role to suit your requirements. Working with offshore outsourced resources and a small team based in Balcatta the role can be flexible to suit someone looking to move from a paraplanner to adviser role - or someone seeking the work/life balance with a short commute and flexible hours.

An established practise of 18 years - with excellent licensee support and a friendly client base.

What you'll be doing

Conducting client research and data gathering to understand their financial situation and objectives

Preparing detailed financial plans, statements of advice and other supporting documents

Liaising with clients, Financial Planners and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery

Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation, industry regulations and best practices

Providing administrative support to the Financial Planning team as required

What we're looking for

The role can suit any level of experience as a Paraplanner in the financial services industry - as training will be provided where required

Strong technical knowledge of financial planning, including superannuation, insurance, investments and taxation

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues

Proficient in using Xplan preffered.

Relevant tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting or a related field
