A leading Australian packaging firm is seeking an administration officer / business development assistant to add to our team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work autonomously in an office environment, directly with the Managing Director. We are looking for a positive teammate who can work independently and proactively.
This role is varied and a positive attitude is essential. MYOB skills are preferable, particularly experience with using the inventory module.
Role and Responsibilities
Marketing / cold calling as required
Assistance in preparing marketing materials and specification sheets and managing work streams with 3rd party consultants.
Invoicing, Preparation of dispatch documentation and invoicing
Telephone reception
Inventory Management and Stocktake
Weekly and monthly reporting and reconciliations
Accounts receivable
Assistance with QA/QC and supply chain management
Assistance with writing tenders and winning new business
Assistance with writing specification documentation
Organisation of domestic and international transport
Office filing and organisation as required
Requirements
Computer literacy
Office experience
Year 12 or TAFE qualification
Good telephone manner
Attention to detail
Positive attitude, with a willingness to learn
MYOB experience is preferable
