Motor Mechanic

Established in 1988 Eurotune Pty Limited is a family owned business specialising in the service of European vehicles and upgrades.

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team.

Successful applicants will ensure that tasks assigned are carried out in a timely manner and to our high standards.

Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:

• Utilize diagnostic tools for accurate identification of mechanical, electrical and electronic issues in European vehicles;
• Perform diverse repair tasks including engine, transmission, brake system, suspension, steering and electrical repairs;
• Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid, checks, tire rotations and inspections;
• Investigate and troubleshoot complex automotive problems through component examination, testing, and consultation with technical resources;
• Remove and replace faulty or worn-out components essential for vehicle operation;
• Perform wheel alignments and tire balancing to ensure proper handling, stability and tire longevity;
• Communicate effectively with customers to understand vehicle concerns and explain repair recommendations;
• Maintain accurate records of services performed, including parts used, labour hours, and diagnostic findings;
• Conduct thorough quality checks on completed repairs to ensure compliance with safety standards;
• Collaborate with colleagues to prioritize tasks, share knowledge, and provide excellent customer service.

To be considered we expect to be able to observe:

• Relevant trade qualification is required to successfully perform the duties;
• At least two (2) years relevant experience as a Motor Mechanic;
• European brand experience is an advantage;
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence;
• Ability to speak effectively with customers or team members;
• Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.

The salary offered is based upon the award but will may be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position working 38 hours a week.
