About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic with experience in heavy vehicle machinery to join our team. If you have a strong background in maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing heavy equipment, this is an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. The pay for this role is between $75,000 per annum to $85,000 per annum

Key responsibilities & duties

Service, diagnose, and repair a range of heavy vehicle machinery, including Top Container loaders, excavators / bobcat, truck, and other diesel-powered equipment.

Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal performance.

Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Work collaboratively with the team to minimize downtime and improve efficiency.

Maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety regulations.

Additional Duties as required from time to time

Work experience and essential skills criteria

At least 1 year of proven experience as a diesel mechanic working with heavy vehicle machinery.

Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, diesel engines, and electrical components.

Ability to work independently and problem-solve effectively.

Relevant trade qualifications (e.g. Certificate III or Certificate IV) or at least 3 years of relevant work experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
